Yoyogi Park is a very large park in Tokyo.

You will find many benches. There are also lots of trees such as cherry trees. You can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in fall.

There is a large open space. You can enjoy playing Frisbee, badminton and the like as much as you please.

Kite-flying
Some people fly kites. You need to pay attention to the wind direction and adjust the height of the kite by pulling in or letting out the string.
Kite
Kite-flying has long been a popular form of play in Japan. The kite shown here is not a traditional style but made of plastic. In Japan, people often fly kites on the New Year's holidays.
Fountain
There usually are fountains in parks. With some fountains, the height and form of the water change at different times.

You may find people practicing dancing.

Flea market 1
This place is crowded with lots of people.
Flea market 2
The flea market is open in Yoyogi Park. Young people set up their own vendor spaces and sell items that they no longer use. A flea market is also called furima in Japan.
Clothes
They sell clothes that they no longer wear or need.
Toys
They sell toys that they no longer use. Sometimes, you will find rare items.

These girls are setting up their vendor space. First, they neatly lay out clothes on beach mats and then wait for customers.
Flea market vendor 2
These girls are selling clothes that they have brought from home for 300 yen or 100 yen. The clothes are very cheap.
Music band 1
You will find music performers. Some bands start playing in the park, gradually become famous and ultimately appear on TV.
Music band 2
They are playing their original music. They want their songs to be heard by as many people as possible.
Music band 3
This man in a band says, We try to perform music that inspires us as well as cheers up our audience.
Music band 4
Their music is uplifting. Some people stop by to listen. Everyone seems to enjoy their day off in the park.
